How to install Geyser

To install GeyserMC on your EnviroMC server, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Download the GeyserMC plugin: Go to the official GeyserMC download page: https://github.com/GeyserMC/Geyser/releases Download the latest Geyser-Spigot.jar file.

  2. Access your EnviroMC server files: You will need to access your EnviroMC server files using an FTP client like FileZilla or the server's built-in file manager (if available).

  3. Upload the GeyserMC plugin: Navigate to the "plugins" folder in your server files. Upload the Geyser-Spigot.jar file that you downloaded earlier to the "plugins" folder.

  4. Restart your server: Restart your EnviroMC server to allow the plugin to be loaded.

  5. Configure GeyserMC: After the server has restarted, a new folder named "Geyser-Spigot" should be created in the "plugins" folder. Inside the "Geyser-Spigot" folder, you'll find a file called "config.yml". Open and edit the file to configure GeyserMC to work with your server. You'll need to set the "address" and "port" options to match your server's IP address and port.

Here's an example of what the configuration may look like:

  1. Save and restart the server: Save the changes you made to the "config.yml" file and restart your EnviroMC server.

  2. Test the connection: Once the server has restarted, Bedrock Edition players should be able to join your server using the IP and port you specified in the "config.yml" file.

Remember that GeyserMC allows Bedrock Edition players to join Java Edition servers, but some limitations and differences between the two versions may cause minor issues. Ensure that your server is compatible with both versions for the best experience.
